Meeting Facilities
The Local Government Center offers eight conference rooms available for use by LGC affiliate groups. Meeting rooms at LGC range in size from small rooms for 10-12 to our largest space, which can accommodate up to 70 attendees in a classroom-style setting. All meeting rooms feature wireless Internet access. Audio-visual equipment is available upon request, including LCD projector, laptop and projection screen for media-rich presentations. Groups may also request a conference phone and white board for recording notes.
Conference rooms are available for use during regular business hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Requests outside of regular business hours necessitate scheduling of additional staff and will therefore be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Catering services are available through LGC’s approved caterers and can be arranged directly with LGC's Event Planning Associate. Our caterers offer a variety of menus for your meeting.
Room reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and the room assignments are determined by LGC staff based on group size and meeting requirements (number of attendees, setup, catering, audiovisual, etc.). Reservations are accepted up to one year in advance for all eligible groups.
