Unemployment Compensation Plan
The LGC’s Unemployment Compensation Plan assists municipalities, counties, schools and other public or quasi-public entities in handling your unemployment compensation claims from beginning to end. We consult with you, as needed, on investigative questions and provide participating member groups with a secure source of funding for unemployment needs. By spreading the risk, member groups can have peace of mind knowing that unemployment claims are met, year in and year out, at competitive rates.
In addition, our friendly Unemployment Compensation team will assist you with outside agencies to get outstanding claims resolved in a timely manner. Claim payments for unemployment compensation are made directly to the State of New Hampshire’s Department of Employment Security (DES) on behalf of our members. We can also assist you in filing an Unemployment Quarterly Tax and Wage Report with the DES.
