Invitation for Bids - Winaukee Road
Town of Moultonborough, NH
Sealed bids for the 2010 Road Program - Paradise Drive, will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2010 in the Offices of the SelectBoard, 6 Holland Street, PO Box 139, Moultonborough, NH 03254 at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud. Your bid envelope must be marked with the project, item or service being sought, and the date the bids are due. If you send your bid by mail you should put it into a separate sealed envelope, marked as required, inside the mailing envelop to safeguard against it being opened in error.
The work includes the paving of approximately 9,900 feet of roadway and appurtenant work. All work will be completed within the designated easements and the streets and rights-of-way of the designated roadways in the Town of Moultonborough, New Hampshire. The estimated contract value is $215,000 +/-. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified, treasurer's or cashier's check or bid bond in the sum of five (5) percent of the Bid Price. No bidder may withdraw his/her Bid for a period of 60 days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays) after the actual date of the opening of the Bids. The successful bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within 10 days following notification of the acceptance of his bid.

To ensure you are on the bidders list to receive notifications of Addenda, you must obtain Bid Documents from Signature Press. A pre-bid conference will be will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Moultonborough Town Hall. Any questions with respect to this invitation must be received, in writing by mail (above address), fax (603.476.5835) or email (cterenzini@moultonboroughnh.gov), by Carter Terenzini, Town Administrator, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2010.
The town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and waive any minor or non-material informalities, if deemed to be in its best interests.
