Boards of Directors and Managers

The Hearing Officer in the Bureau of Securities Regulation Administrative Hearing Process Ordered that Local Government Center’s Risk Pools, each be governed by separate Boards and separate bylaws. While LGC has appealed the Order to the Supreme Court, the Court denied LGC’s Motion to Stay pending the results of the Appeal. In response, LGC’s Board of Directors met November 20, 2012, in public session to approve the restructuring of its HealthTrust and Property-Liability Trust risk pool programs to comply with the Order. Each of LGC’s risk pool programs will now be governed by a separate Board of Managers and a separate set of bylaws.

The Local Government Center's Board of Directors is comprised of municipal, school, county and employee representatives, serving as volunteers dedicated to strengthening local government through the programs and services of the LGC.
